Gadge USA was established in 1993. Our company is a national packaging supply and supply-chain solutions company with an expansive distribution network. We manage packaging portfolios across multiple categories, combined with a scalable service model, which delivers packaging solutions and continuous improvement to our customers.

We are currently recruiting a Senior Manager, Vendor Management, reporting to our VP of Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, leading, and implementing collaborative procurement strategies and relationships that deliver quality products, enhance profit margins, and elevated service levels throughout the Company.


What You Will Do:

  • Develop and implement the Company’s vendor contract management and relationship programs with vendors (including product and warehouses).
  • Develop strong vendor relationships through frequent interactions and communications.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department and vendors, generate progress reports, and utilize performance analytics to enable effective procurement strategies, measure and improve vendor performance, and expand product and service capabilities.
  • Manage and negotiate vendor price as required, including all components related to Global Price Watch program for vendor specific terms.
  • Manage and enhance the Vendor Onboarding Process.
  • Own the administration of vendor contracts and oversee the compliance of all terms and conditions.
  • Manage the overall structure and tracking outcomes of vendor rebate programs.
  • Negotiate and finalize vendor contracts terms to enhance profit margins in all product areas and provide guidance to internal teams as needed.
  • Develop vendor scorecards to perform financial analysis, pricing, rates, volume commitments, and make recommendations for vendor selection based on ongoing assessments of performance, lead times, quality, and market conditions.
  • Managing cross-functional projects effectively through collaboration with other stakeholders.
  • Manage the Quality Operations function, execute strategies to reduce or eliminate quality issues with vendors, proactively address concerns, and improve service and delivery to our customers.
  • Develop and manage a national and/or international network of alternate and diversified suppliers to protect our business against supply chain market risks.
  • Manage the performance and development of direct reports through coaching, feedback, training and stretch assignments.
  • Work with Leadership and legal as necessary to develop Vendor Supplier Agreements, letter of understanding (LOU) and amendments.

Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree, and 5 - 8 years of experience in vendor management, purchasing, procurement, supply chain, and/or packaging.
  • 3+ years of direct people management experience in related capacity.
  • In-depth technical knowledge and proficiency in corrugated paperboard and flexible packaging.
  • Extensive experience with distribution of products and services.
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating and reviewing contracts, business documents, and/or agreements.
  • Ability to develop strong vendor relationships, with proven negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication skills and able to represent and influence the perspectives of others.
  • Highly analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to analyze information, situations, problems, policies and procedures to formulate objective and logical solutions.
  • Project management expertise and proven ability to facilitate flawless execution of projects from inception to completion.

This role will be based in our office located at 3000 Marcus Avenue, Suite 3E03, Lake Success, NY 11042.

The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000 commensurate with the candidate's experience.
