Senior Functional Consultant

Senior Functional Consultant wanted in NY, NY to provide business and application consultancy to our clients. 

• Organize and perform full training cycles, train key users and end users with an efficient and dynamics use of the solution.
• Lead SCM implementation from the analysis phase and onward with little supervision from the functional solution architect in a highly visible client facing role.
• Understand and configure basic finance functionality within the application.
• Build client relationships to become a trusted advisor.
• Understand different industries processes and suggest the best practices and solutions within the application.
• Understand, communicate, interpret document business processes and requirements.
• Perform ongoing support, troubleshoot, and resolve data/functionality issues.
• Lead discussions with the client and project teams during Project Design meetings.
• Implement and configure supply chain modules of D365 F&O, Procurement and sourcing, Sales and marketing, Warehouse management, Inventory management, Project management, Asset management, Master planning, Production control.
• Carry out prototyping plans, procedure documentation and communicate with project team.
• Define D365 F&O functional requirement and design documents that developers can use for enhancements.
• Perform advanced configuration and customization of the Dynamics 365 solution.
• Handle testing and QA phases.
• Test enhancements for end-user acceptance and accuracy.
• Organize the communication between the test teams and technical/functional resources for resolution.
• Identify opportunities to improve the use of the solution.
• Work on all stages of D365 F&O implementation projects. Implementing the following modules: Products and Inventory, Procure to pay, Order to cash, Warehouse management, Transportation management, Master planning, demand and supply forecasting, Intercompany trade, Enterprise Asset Management, Project and accounting, Service management, EDI. 
• Participate in full lifecycle implementations.
• Write functional specification, gap document and training materials.
• Organize and manage resources during the Testing phase.
• Triage and fix bugs/issues and utilize MS provided technical resources.
• Use D365 F&O Supply Chain MB-300, MS-900, MB-330. 

Requirements

• Option to telecommute.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Supply Chain Management plus 2 years of experience required in the job offered or as AX/D365 Manufacturing Consultant.
• Salary: $148,175.28/yr.
