BPCM Senior Account Executive, Influencer (Beauty)
BPCM seeks a creative, and highly motivated influencer marketing specialist for our Beauty and Wellness Division. The ideal candidate will bring their proven experience and talent to be a resource for all things influencer, working collaboratively with both the Los Angeles and New York offices. We are looking for an innovative, curious, and creative thinker that is passionate about all things trending in the world of influencer marketing.
The candidate should have ongoing relationships with key influencers and be well-versed in all aspects of influencer marketing – including: incentivizing influencers to participate in brand campaigns with little or no budget, preparing paid influencer contracts and prompting high-impact earned media results via creative programming.
Candidates must also exhibit strong writing and presentation skills, and proficiencies in Powerpoint/deck presentations to effectively articulate ideas to clients, agency principals and colleagues. Candidate experience working with both smaller independent brands as well as a global luxury, and corporate brand structure is preferred. An interest in wellness and clean beauty is also desired.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Team/Management
- Manage Assistant Account Executives on all things influencer related, from list building, relationship building, mailing and paid campaign outreach, events and more
- Report to Account Directors in LA and NY offices, where strong communication will be a must (remote work and multiple time zone management)
- Work with PR team to create client strategies that amplify activities through influencer engagement
- Help to schedule and facilitate influencer giftings with AAEs; ensure that the gifting inventory is properly managed
- Manage social tracking programs and influencer marketing programs or execution teams on services such as Tribe, Fohr Card, Traackr, Klear and more
- Client Relations
- Work with each client to develop their specific influencer targets in order to best reach their ideal consumers
- Cultivate direct relationships with clients – you will be their go-to source for day-to-day influencer questions
- Understand various brand demographics, psychographics and overall target of type of influencer
- Influencer Relations
- Build relationships with social media and “in real life” influencers and professional artists (hair/makeup/nails) across beauty, health/wellness, lifestyle and fashion on behalf of multiple clients
- Identify core groups of influencers for client campaigns, events and initiatives (including owned and earned partnerships)
- Proactively ideate opportunities to increase brand affinity and advocacy with influencers for client programs
- Identify/invite key influencers to client sponsored events such as fashion week, Coachella, etc.
- Paid Influencer Campaign Management
- Manage large scale influencer marketing campaigns; taking client brief and overseeing influencer marketing agencies and/or agents/influencers directly
- Identify key larger influencer partnership opportunities for clients; create yearly activation plans for these partnerships
- Determine KPIs for paid influencer campaigns based on client goals
- Help draft and review deal memos, contracts and briefs, work with brand legal teams on agreements
- Negotiate costs with agents/influencers to meet budget goals
- Deliver recap reports with strategic recommendations for client’s next influencer campaign(s)
- Create/manage lists of social media influencers across beauty, fashion, health/wellness and lifestyle with a focus on US-based influencers
- Ongoing identification of new influencers
- Report touchpoints with each influencer
- Ideate and plan small to large influencer touchpoints for clients (monthly/bi-monthly)
- Identify/invite 5-40+ influencers per event based off event scale
- Location scout, manage vendors, manage budget
- Provide PPT recaps
- Manage influencer mailing campaigns, using various platforms for campaign metrics
- Identify core group of influencers for mailings
- Sourcing materials, managing vendors, paying invoices, manage mailing house on each mailing
- Provide PPT recaps within 2 weeks of execution
- Maintain relationships with key digital media in LA market
- Freelancers, editors, VIPs and podcast hosts
Requirements
What you bring to the table:
- 4-5 years of Beauty PR, talent relations and/or influencer campaign management experience
- Must have established relationships with Instagram influencers and beauty/fashion bloggers
- Strong contacts with influencers and agents based in New York & Los Angeles, in regional markets is a plus.
- Constantly on the pulse of the beauty/fashion industry, recognizing new influencers
- Able to manage multiple accounts and effectively communicate with clients with creative ideas and solution-based strategies
- Collaborate with clients to implement campaign influencer strategies centered around seasonal and new product launches and brand/designer partnerships
- Experience creating unique/sharable creative moments for product mailers and events
- Manage/maintain in-house monthly/weekly influencer reports and track client social coverage
- Self-directed and entrepreneurial mindset with great presentation skills
- An insatiable appetite for digital and social media and understanding of the luxury market
- Proven results creating influencer campaigns and new business proposals
- Deep understanding of all social media platforms and the respective approaches to each
- Demonstrated strong expertise in copywriting and proofreading
