Seasonal Help

This is a temporary seasonal position. School and vacation schedules will be accommodated.  Full-time and part-time positions are both available.  There is the potential for this role to convert to a permanent position.

This position works among a team of individuals manufacturing products for our customers under the guidance of experienced team members. The role entails such functions as kitting, loading/unloading machines, manual machining, and assembly.  On the job training will be provided, no experience is necessary.

Essential Job Functions include the following, but are not limited to:

• Assists team engaged in fabricating and processing optical materials and parts.
• Sorts, counts, and logs parts and materials into a database
• Inspects parts and materials for defects.
• Handles and Cleans optical and mechanical components which may include unpacking and repacking.
• Must be able to understand written work instructions for a wide range of products to properly manufacture the final product to the highest of quality standards and with zero scrap or rework.
• Maintains proper records in our Manufacturing Database.

In addition to the essential functions and duties listed above, all positions are also responsible for:

• Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
• Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.

The Company retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position.

This position will pay an hourly rate of $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Strong ability to shift from one task to another to address changing production priorities.
• Basic mathematic knowledge.
• Hands on work or working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
