Router Cutter Operator / Material Handler

Parallel Employment in partnership iwth Lancaster Manufacturing client is seeking a Router Cutter Operator.

$19 per hour

1st shift: 6 am - 4:30 pm

Must have dependable transporation

Math/Measurement test required (fractions, decimals, reading ruler)

In this role, you will be responsible for setting up machines, selecting and replacing cutting tools, programming designs, and performing quality checks on finished products. You will work closely with other team members to ensure operational efficiency and contribute to the overall success of the production line.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate router cutting machines in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Measure and cut material to meet customer specs via cutting machine and other tools
• Perform thickness check on remnant material
• Pull materials from stock or storage areas
• Interpret and follow technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor machine operation to identify and correct any issues.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Keep machines and work area clean and organized.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating router cutting machines preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Basic mathematical skills for measuring and cutting materials.
• Ability to work on your feet for long periods and lift heavy materials as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
