Retail Supply Chain Analyst
Summary:
The Retail Supply Chain Analyst will help oversee the end-to-end life cycle of shipments, from forecasting to fulfillment, while identifying opportunities for optimization. This candidate will be responsible for generating reports and analyzing data from multiple sources to forecast trends for new and existing products, and monitor retail inventory to mitigate channel imbalances. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, data-driven, adaptable and skilled in maintaining accuracy while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues efficiently and effectively.
Key Job Responsibilities:
· Analyze, troubleshoot, and identify system and data related issues and partner with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
· Prepare, maintain, and publish reports to monitor and assess performance and trend for both sales and shipments, bridging forecasts with actual order, shipment, and return statuses.
· Gain & provide insight into the life cycle of sales orders, from forecast to fulfillment, and adjust the shipment forecast and system parameters to align with business fluctuations & inventory accuracy in retail markets.
· Collaborate with the Demand Planning team by analyzing upcoming promo forecasts against historical data, identify deviations, and align on wholesale projections.
· Support the Retail Operations, Sales, and Demand Planning teams with channel-level inventory analysis, on-hand inventory allocation analysis and chargeback validations.
· Partner with Retail Operations and Allocations teams to analyze PO's and WOS, to facilitate Retailer forecast alignment between sell-in and sell-thru.
· Proactively work with Operations and Supply Chain teams to identify and address inventory gaps from forecast deviations and mitigate risks of overstock or mis-ordering across Retailer channels.
· Maintain the operational global assortment in partnership with the marketing and business teams to make sure all cross functional files are animated accordingly.
· Proactively use reporting tools to identify channel mix imbalances and escalate findings to Demand Planning team for further analysis and actions.
Required qualifications:
· Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in a fast-paced organization
· Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Fashion Merchandising Management, or Business
· Beauty/and or consumer product background a plus
· Microsoft Navision, SAP and/or Vanguard experience a plus
· Advanced Proficient MS Excel
· Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
· Analytical mindset with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently and cross-functionally
· Works well under pressure, possesses a sense of urgency, can prioritize tasks as needed, and adhere to deadlines
