Position: Retail Customer Associate
Location: Brooklyn , NY
Reports to: Consumer Operations Manager
Status: Full-TimeJob Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Customer Operations Associate to join our team. This role is vital to ensuring a seamless customer experience by managing the packing and shipping of orders with accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be highly organized, and possess a proactive approach to supporting operational processes. must have shipstation and shopify experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipping while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Print shipping labels and ensure orders are properly labeled and documented.
- Collaborate with carriers to arrange timely pickups and resolve any delivery issues.
- Track shipments and provide updates as needed.
- Maintain organized inventory storage and restock packaging materials as necessary.
- Notify management of low-stock items or discrepancies in inventory.
- Address customer inquiries related to order status or shipping concerns professionally.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve any issues impacting the customer experience.
- Keep the workspace clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment.
- Identify opportunities to improve packing and shipping efficiency and suggest process improvements.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., printing labels, using shipping software).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, lift, and carry packages (up to 30 lbs) for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in an office environment.
Requirements
QualificationsEducation & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in Customer service , shipping, packing, must know how to use Shipstation and Shopify
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., printing labels, using shipping software).
