We are seeking a dedicated Regulatory & Product Operations to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that our cosmetic products comply with national and international regulations. You will be responsible for preparing and submitting regulatory documents, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes, and collaborating with various departments to gather necessary data.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
· Assess and ensure compliance of cosmetic products with national and international regulations.
· Prepare, review, and submit regulatory documents to authorities.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes and guidelines impacting the cosmetics industry.
· Advise the product development team on regulatory requirements for new cosmetic products.
· Conduct regulatory impact assessments for changes to existing products.
· Maintain detailed records of all regulatory activities and communications.
· Manage and implement all MoCRA-related changes, including overseeing the newly mandated FDA portal. Serve as the liaison between Customer Support and Product Development Team to address and resolve potential product complaints.
· Participate in quality assurance audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
· Review product formulations, labels, and marketing materials for regulatory compliance, including ingredients, claims, and safety
· Ensure all required regulatory documents are obtained from manufacturing partners and assist the Product Development team in performing regular audits
· Serve as a key regulatory resource for the product development, marketing, and customer service teams by providing guidance on regulatory related questions and issues
· Coordinate with external regulatory agencies, consultants, and testing laboratories to ensure timely product approval and compliance
· Stay informed about changes in cosmetic regulations and ensure that the company’s products are updated accordingly and provide regular updates to key stakeholders
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
· 3-5 years of experience in regulatory affairs within the cosmetics industry.
· Strong understanding of national and international cosmetic regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
· Proficiency in regulatory software and databases is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
· Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
· Familiarity with regulatory requirements in key global markets such as the EU, US, Canada, and UK.

The salary range for this position is $60-70,000 annually. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
