Full Job Description
Our client is a boutique Law Firm located in Melville, New York focusingin the areas of Business, Corporate & Real Estate Law, Commercial Litigation, Trusts & Estates and Employment Law
Due to growth, they are seeking someone with at least 5+ years’ experience in Corporate Business Transactions and Commercial Real Estate to work full time in the office right off the Rt. 110 Corridor.
Main Responsibilities:
- Be a rainmaker to bring in new business/cases (marketing and networking to obtain your own new clients).
- Meet with clients, communicate with adversaries, negotiate, and draft various types of business contracts
- Provide partners with support for their matters, operating in a team environment
- Review and negotiate various types of business agreements, commercial real estate leases and financing documents and conduct closings
Requirements
Main Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) Degree plus admission to NY state bar
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Corporate and Commercial Real Estate matters. Experience with employment law and commercial litigation is a plus
- Excellent writing, organizational, analytical and negotiation skills, plus outstanding client communication and management skills
- Eager to be involved in business development with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Portable business and a business background are preferred
Salary is 125K -150K plus origination of new business. (10-15%) and bonus
