QA Engineer

Processica, a leading technology company, is seeking a talented QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer at Processica, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge software products and play a crucial role in ensuring their quality and performance.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough testing of our applications to identify any bugs or issues and propose solutions to improve the overall quality of our products. You will work closely with the development team to understand the requirements, identify potential risks, and develop test plans and strategies. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute test cases, document test results, and provide recommendations for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and fix defects
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues to determine their root cause
• Document and track defects, and provide recommendations for improvement
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure quality standards are met
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with test management tools, such as JIRA or TestRail
• Good understanding of the software development life cycle
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented and able to prioritize and multitask effectively
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus
