Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Python Java Full Stack Engineer - HYBRID NYC responsible for both front-end and back-end development tasks, including the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and database tasks. This role requires proficiency in a variety of programming languages and frameworks, as well as experience with system integrations, CI/CD pipelines, and code version control using GitHub.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain dynamic web applications and perform database management tasks.
• Ensure effective integration of modern front-end technologies with legacy backend systems.
• Maintain and enhance automated tests and test suites to ensure application reliability.
• Utilize Apache Kafka and Apache Spark for stream-processing and large-scale data processing tasks.
• Develop server-side logic using frameworks like Flask or Django.
• Manage code versioning with GitHub and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment processes.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring security and data protection.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs, and improve usability.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Core Java, and ETL processes.
• Strong experience with Python programming, Flask/Django, HTML/CSS, JavaScript (including NodeJS, SocketIO, ExpressJS, NPM).
• Familiarity with Linux, Nginx, Oracle 11g, PostgreSQL, NumPy, pandas, SQLAlchemy, and shell scripting.
• Strong experience in maintaining CI/CD pipelines and version control using GitHub.
