Position Summary:
The Purchasing Clerk will be responsible for managing the procurement of footwear inventory, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of products. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
- Periodically source new footwear styles from suppliers
- Cross check pricing between suppliers to ensure best pricing
- Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and make recommendations to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Place orders and schedule deliveries to maintain an efficient supply chain.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, receipts, invoices, and inventory transactions.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activities, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
- Work closely with the sales team to meet customer demands and forecast future footwear needs.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team for efficient receipt and storage of incoming footwear.
- Input and manage purchase order data in the company’s inventory management system.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity for all purchasing and inventory records.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Clerk or in a similar role within the footwear or fashion industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Quickbooks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
