Full Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in project engineering. Experience with projects involving the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is a significant plus.
The Project Engineer will play a pivotal role in managing civil engineering projects, ensuring technical excellence, and delivering high-quality designs. The successful candidate should possess strong design and technical skills and demonstrate proficiency in industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
- Develop detailed engineering designs and drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Conduct site inspections, surveys, and assessments to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and documentation for project approvals.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on relevant projects, as applicable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or a related field).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on project engineering.
- Familiarity with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers processes and standards is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Strong design and technical skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
