Full Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the Program Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing RF’s mission. This position will oversee the scholarship application process, manage partnerships with treatment providers, support grant writing and reporting, and contribute to strategic initiatives that maximize RF's impact. As a key member of the team, the Program Manager will help shape and execute RF’s programmatic strategy, ensuring sustainable growth and meaningful outcomes.
The Release Recovery Foundation (RF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to breaking down barriers to professional treatment for substance use disorders and mental illness. Too often, individuals from underserved communities are unable to access proven treatments. At RF, we provide scholarships and a supportive community to help bridge the gap between what individuals can afford and the resources they need to transform their lives. Since 2019, RF has awarded over 100 scholarships, empowering individuals regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Scholarship Program Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end scholarship process, including application review, approvals, and fund distribution, ensuring adherence to RF guidelines.
- Responsible for replying to all inquiries and outreach to the hotline and contact form.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with scholarship recipients and treatment partners.
- Keep meticulous records of scholarships awarded, gratitude letters, and follow-up communications with recipients.
2. Program Development & Evaluation:
- Analyze program outcomes through data collection tools, participant feedback, and site visits.
- Set and achieve program goals in collaboration with the Programming Committee, aligning efforts with RF’s mission.
3. Strategic Partnerships:
- Foster and manage relationships with community partners, exploring opportunities for collaboration and programmatic expansion.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to secure funding through grant writing, reporting, and donor engagement.
4. General Operations:
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
- Assist the ED and Board with communications and content development to promote RF’s impact.
- Ensure programs operate efficiently, achieve desired outcomes, and comply with relevant policies and standards.
- Represent RF at events, partner sites, schools, and community organizations to raise awareness and build strategic relationships when appropriate.
- Create and manage regular communications, including newsletters, social media content, and other outreach initiatives to engage the RF community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (4+ years).
- Preferred experience in clinical outreach or a treatment setting
- Deep understanding of behavioral health issues and related community needs.
- Proficiency in data analysis, program evaluation, and project management software.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
- Preferred knowledge of nonprofit, corporate, and government sectors.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
