Day-to-Day Responsibilities

An Account Executive at Decision Foundry is responsible for developing and initiating relationships with customers and Salesforce.com sellers. They work to understand customer needs and develop solutions that meet those needs. Account Executives also work to identify new opportunities for customers who can leverage Decision Foundry’s expertise in intelligence, SF Marketing Cloud, SF CRM, eCommerce, and Data Cloud products and services. They must be able to effectively communicate with customers and build relationships that will lead to long-term success. 

Professional Services Account Executive Job Duties:


A Professional Services Account Executive typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include: 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Salesforce.com Account Executives, Regional Vice Presidents, and Area Vice Presidents. 
  • Identify customer needs and develop solutions to meet those needs through Salesforce products 
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform and its capabilities 
  • Utilize Salesforce tools such as Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CPQ to create customized solutions for customers 
  • Create and deliver presentations that demonstrate how Decision Foundry can help customers achieve their business goals through the Salesforce.com clouds. 
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers 
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to close 
  • Track and report on sales activities and results in Sales Cloud 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of customer projects 
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive offerings 
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing and Advisory groups to drive demand generation and pipeline growth 
  • Participate in trade shows and other events to promote Decision Foundry products and services. 

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Five years of experience in Enterprise Selling in the Salesforce ecosystem 
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts while seeking new opportunities 
  • Ability to understand client needs and negotiate costs and services 
  • Proficiency with CRM software and an aptitude for learning new systems 
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business or related discipline 
  • Bilingualism considered a bonus

Working Condition- Remote (Work from Home)

Compensation:

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000 USD.
