Production Porta/ Cleaning Associate- Happier

Job Summary:


We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Production Porta / Cleaning Associate. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and general upkeep of the production area, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning equipment, workspaces, and facilities, as well as assisting in production support activities as needed.

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of production equipment, floors, and workstations.

• Clean and restock restroom and break areas regularly.

• Ensure that all cleaning supplies and chemicals are used safely and in accordance with company policies.

• Follow cleaning schedules to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

• Assist in setting up production lines and workstations before shifts begin.

• Remove waste and debris from the production floor and dispose of it in appropriate containers.

• Notify the maintenance team of any repairs or issues with equipment that require attention.

• Assist production staff with basic tasks, such as transporting materials or cleaning up spills.

• Ensure compliance with all company safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.

• Report any safety hazards or concerns to the supervisor immediately.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cleaning, janitorial, or production support role preferred.

• Ability to follow detailed cleaning instructions and safety protocols.

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.

Work Schedule:

• Sunday- Thursday

• Availability to work overtime or weekends as required.

Benefits

Pay: $17-$18/ hour
