Requirements
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the product strategy in alignment with the company's overall vision and goals, including product roadmap, pricing, positioning, and distribution.
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to identify new product opportunities, product gaps, and potential risks.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, operations, finance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless product development and launch.
- Develop and manage the new product development budget, set forecasts, and manage performance metrics, including revenue, profit, market share, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and manage manufacturers and suppliers across the world to produce and deliver products in accordance with quality standards, timelines, and cost parameters.
- Establish strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors and conduct quarterly business reviews to optimize performance in terms of product cost, quality and delivery parameters.
- Oversee the product lifecycle, from ideation, development, testing, and launch, to post-launch evaluation and optimization.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the competitive landscape and industry trends to maintain our position as a leading makeup brand.
- Collaborate with the Head of Brand and Chief Marketing Officer to ensure consistent brand messaging, customer experience, and go-to-market strategy.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of launching successful products in the beauty, cosmetics, or related industry.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in leading virtual and cross-functional teams.
- Solid knowledge of consumer behavior, market research, and product development processes.
- Proven track record in market research, able to identify and analyze consumer trends across multiple countries
- Experience working with global suppliers and vendors across the world, experience in operating in a global supply chain setting (EU, US & Asia)
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
- Passion for makeup and beauty, with a deep understanding of the industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape.
