About the Role

Our client is seeking a freelance podcast producer/videographer to assist the production of a podcast project. The podcast will feature guests from the TV, film, and theater industries. The freelancer's role will involve video recording, editing, sound mixing, and overseeing the overall production process. The freelancer should have mid-level experience and be willing to work at a location in New York for part of the project.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate video recording equipment to capture high-quality footage of podcast interviews.
• Manage the audio recording process, ensuring clear and clean sound quality.
• Edit the recorded video and audio footage, assembling a cohesive and engaging podcast episode.

Requirements

• Mid-level experience in video production, editing, and sound mixing.
• Proficiency in using video editing software and audio editing tools
• Knowledge of video and audio recording techniques, including equipment setup and operation.
• Familiarity with podcast production workflows and best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.
