We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Part-Time Site Coordinator to join our team in Brooklyn, New York. As a Part-Time Site Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing various departments, ensuring compliance with venue regulations, and maintaining a high level of client satisfaction. Your proficiency in using technology tools like Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Square Point of Sale, and Toast Point of Sale, along with your experience in multi-departmental management, will contribute to the success of our events.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize your knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office to manage administrative tasks, including event documentation, client communication, and reports.
- Effectively operate Square Point of Sale and Toast Point of Sale systems to oversee financial transactions, inventory management, and sales reconciliation.
- Manage and coordinate multiple departments, including food service, bar operations, and event logistics, ensuring smooth collaboration and efficient execution.
- Maintain a deep understanding of venue compliance requirements, DOH, health and safety regulations, fire codes, and liquor laws to ensure all activities are conducted within legal boundaries.
- Demonstrate exceptional client relationship management skills, addressing client inquiries, needs, and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate closely with department heads to streamline processes, allocate resources effectively, and optimize overall operations.
- Ensure all staff members are well-informed, trained, and aligned with the event goals and client expectations.
- Exercise your problem-solving skills to proactively address any operational challenges and unexpected issues during events.
- Uphold a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests, promoting a memorable experience and fostering a sense of community.
- Leverage your experience to ensure a seamless event flow, from setup to breakdown, while adhering to established timelines.
- Collaborate with event planners and vendors to meet specific event requirements and exceed client expectations.
- Utilize your knowledge of food handling regulations to uphold health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Square Point of Sale, and Toast Point of Sale systems.
- Demonstrated understanding of multi-departmental management, with 2 years of Venue coordinator experience.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage concurrent tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Ability to maintain compliance with venue regulations, health and safety standards, and liquor laws.
- Possession of a food handler's license is a plus.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.
