Requirements
Nursing Home Social Worker Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- Current licensure as a Social Worker (LMSW or LCSW)
- Experience working in a nursing home or long-term care facility
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding long-term care
- Ability to assess and address the psychosocial needs of residents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
