Each member’s care is led by a dedicated Chief Medical Officer who collaborates on your behalf with specialists in cardiology, neurology, pediatrics, gynecology, endocrinology, performance and movement, and more. Our exceptional clinicians also work closely with the 60+ members of the Atria Academy of Science & Medicine, top experts in their respective fields who are available for rapid consults, support, and referrals.
Specifically, you will:
- Conduct scans in accordance with Atria safety protocols, policies, and procedures
- Demonstrate skill and proficiency in the use of sensitive MRI equipment to obtain accurate and meaningful results, reviews referring physician orders and any additional medical history, obtains the patient’s history and shows the correlation of the clinical history with the anatomy covered on the MRI examination
- Carefully and completely screen all patients prior to allowing anyone to enter the MRI exam room(s) and others entering the MRI scan room(s), for any safety issues contraindications with regard to the specifics of being in a strong magnetic field
- Demonstrate computer literacy and skills with the proficient use of PAC and RIS systems, and other systems as required
- Maintain a high quality of patient care
- Communicate in a positive and timely manner with co-workers, physicians, patients, and visitors
- May help the team by performing other imaging modalities (CT, Dexa, XRay, MRI main Focus)
- Shift times: Full-time position 3 or 4 work days per week
- Hourly rate: $65/hour - $80/hour
Requirements
Requirements
- Degree from a 2 yr AMA approved Radiology school
- Registered X-Ray Technologist by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- ARRT/MRI certification
- 2+ years of MRI experience
- Experience with other modalities a plus
- Compassionate and effective communicator with strong tact and diplomacy
