MRI Technologist

Impact Recruiting Solution is currently seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in the healthcare industry. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to obtain detailed images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring their comfort and safety
• Operate MRI scanners and adjust the settings to capture appropriate images
• Monitor patients during the scan to ensure their well-being and address any concerns or complications
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret MRI images
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of patient records, adhering to privacy regulations
• Calibrate and maintain MRI scanners and related equipment to ensure optimal functioning
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection measures to minimize risk to patients and staff
• Stay updated on advancements in MRI technology and techniques through continuing education and professional development

Requirements

• Valid certification as an MRI Technologist
• Experience operating MRI scanners and performing MRI imaging procedures
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Excellent technical skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate and high-quality MRI images
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals, providing clear instructions and answering questions
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle stressful situations with composure
• Commitment to patient safety and adhering to radiation protection measures

Benefits

• The salary for this position is$50 - $55 / hr
• This is a Full-time or a Part-time position
