Merchandise Associate

Responsibilities:

• Analyze sales data and provide insights to optimize product performance and drive sales growth.
• Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and minimize stockouts.
• Assist with assortment planning and product forecasting based on market trends and customer demand.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as buying, marketing, and operations to align on merchandising strategies and objectives.
• Prepare sales reports and presentations for merchandising meetings and business reviews.
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities and trends.
• Support the implementation of pricing strategies and markdowns to optimize profitability.
• Assist with the development and execution of promotional campaigns and events.
• Stay updated on industry and market trends to identify new opportunities and make recommendations for assortment improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, or related field.
• Experience in a similar role in retail merchandising or analysis preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Passion for retail and merchandising trends.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
