Massage Therapist

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal massage
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine client needs and preferences before each session
• Customize massage sessions based on individual client requirements and health conditions
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring treatment rooms are prepared for each client
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend self-care and wellness strategies
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety protocols, including sanitation and hygiene standards
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation of treatment plans and progress

Requirements

• Valid state massage therapy license
• Minimum of 500 hours of massage therapy training from an accredited school
• Proven experience in a professional massage therapy setting
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a calming and therapeutic environment for clients
• Commitment to continuous professional development and education in massage techniques
