About the Sales & Marketing Team 

The S&M team, led by our CBO, Sammy, drives revenue growth for Aniai. With 10 active clients, 20 grills live in their locations and 1,000 pre-orders, the S&M team is hard at work managing client relations, researching new burger chains to target, and creating buzz to drive sales forward. The S&M team has 3 members, currently in Korea. And in the US, we’re conducting several pilot tests with some of the top burger brands and expect to go live in the next 6-12 months. The S&M team is looking for a rock star to manage these pilots and tackle our addressable market in the US. 

 

About the Marketing Manager Role 

We are looking for a rock star Marketing Manager to develop and execute key marketing strategies that scale our B2B sales and revenue. You will use your creativity every day, working closely with product, account management and sales to support Aniai in reaching new customers and retaining existing ones. We’re focused more on public relations and external comms with scrappy budgets, rather than digital strategies with large budgets. 

Here’s the fine print: 

  • Public Relations: Develop strategic plan for earned media, create press releases for company milestones, and act as Aniai’s US spokesperson through maintaining relationships with reporters and industry leaders. 
  • Social Media: Manage Aniai’s social media presence, including creating regular posts, responding to comments and tracking performance metrics. 
  • Campaigns & Analytics: Track appropriate marketing metrics across all activities and use data analytics to improve performance and drive revenue growth. 
  • Writing: Create and maintain up-to-date content across our website, social media, customer-facing collateral, etc. 
  • Market Research: Conduct research to develop strategies around market segmentation, competitive advantages, product advancements, etc. 
  • Strategy: Develop and execute US marketing strategy to drive largest market for Aniai. 
  • Team Support: Support other Aniai teams with public-facing content, strategy and execution where needed. 
  • Other: We’re a growing team! There will be plenty of opportunities to support other marketing initiatives, including budget management, tradeshow planning, etc. 

The total compensation range for this position is $80,000-$100,000.

Requirements

  • Have a bachelor's degree.  
  • Be excited to work at our NYC HQ 5 days per week. We pride ourselves in building community through our in-person culture. 
  • Love burgers. What is your favorite burger? We want to know! 
  • Communicate effectively and love cross-collaborative efforts. Our teams span across the US and Korea, which takes patience, kindness and communication to make it work. 
  • Have a hustle mentality, solve problems and act quickly. We’re a rapidly growing startup, we don’t have time to waste. 
  • (Bonus) Have experience in startups. 
  • (Bonus) Have experience in robotics, kitchen equipment manufacturing, or restaurants. 

 

We ask Marketing Managers at Aniai to: 

  • Be top tier communicators. Whether written or verbal you never miss the littel details, spelling mistakes included. 
  • Have proven success marketing highly technical products. You can not only explain an advanced product to a 10yr old, but you can also get them excited about it. 
  • Have a deep understanding of marketing KPIs and their significance in improving performance of campaigns. 
  • Think outside the box and have experience developing strong brands 
  • Have made incredible impacts in their prior experience. We think this takes the equivalent of roughly 7+ years to do. 
  • (Bonus) Have studied Marketing in school and use that knowledge in your work.
