Position Title: Marketing & Design Operations Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Marketing Operations Manager to project manage the execution for our brand and organic campaigns across channels. This role involves collaborating with teams cross-functionally, project managing internal photoshoots and design calendars, organizing and distributing assets, and ensuring effective communication between business teams. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable overseeing multiple projects with competing deadlines across copywriting, ideation, and will be responsible for organizing, standardizing and streamlining communications and reporting for the marketing function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Work with Marketing Director to identify key project milestones, dependencies, and deadlines, then work backwards to ensure that execution teams stay on track.
- Photoshoot & Creative Asset Calendar Oversight: Collaborate with design and fashion/product teams to manage the sampling schedule and photoshoot calendar. Oversee staffing and engage vendors for photoshoots. Communicate and confirm departmental needs for creative briefs and shot lists, outline the budget, track expenditures, and manage post-production and asset management to ensure timely delivery.
- Team Collaboration & Communications: Facilitate briefings between creative, digital, and product teams to ensure alignment and cohesion in campaign execution. Standardize communications from execution teams to cross-functional teams and the Marketing Director. Ensure that individual contributors/execution teams are prepared to report out on current workload, needs, priorities, approvals, etc.
- Agency Communications: Assist in managing and disseminating key information to email, advertisement, and public relations vendors.
- Website Maintenance: Track and manage discount codes, update banners, write copy for product drops, and refresh the homepage as needed.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and consumer behavior to guide marketing strategies and decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on marketing analytics, campaign strategy and execution.
- Passion for Sundae School’s brand and products.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, including email, PPC, and social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, etc.) and their algorithms.
- Familiar in using collaboration tools (e.g. Google Drive, Airtable, Slack, Frame.io)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong communication, writing, and editing skills with a keen understanding of social media voice and tone.
- Proficiency in analytics tools and reporting software to assess campaign performance.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Able to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Bonus Points:
- Proficiency in briefs and deck creation.
- Comfortable being on camera.
- Proactive with asking questions.
- Experience with graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut).
- Knowledge of SEO and social media advertising.
- Familiarity with influencer marketing strategies.

Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
$60,000-$70,000/annually
