Berry Street is a business-in-a-box platform enabling registered dietitians to start and scale private practices that accept health insurance. We provide all of the software needed to run a best-in-class practice + back-office services like insurance contracting, eligibility verification, customer support, claims billing, and even patient acquisition.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Group Practice Business Development Manager or Senior Manager to drive our sales efforts to Group Practice owners. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving our mission to improve health outcomes through better nutrition. You will build out our partnership strategy for lead identification, develop relationships with , and close contracts with group practice owners. Your role will have a significant impact on our organization's growth and success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with group practice owners and other relevant stakeholders
- Continuously iterate on the Berry Street pitch and tailor our messaging to maximize our impact in each sales meeting
- In partnership with Practice Success team, manage relationships with dietitians and group practices, handling any escalated issues or concerns
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement in sales execution
- Establish and monitor KPIs to track and improve performance
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales or business development roles, ideally in a high-growth startup healthcare environment
- Experience in selling to practice owners or small business owners
- Comfortable building presentations and sales materials
- Strong analytical skills, with expertise in Excel/Google Sheets
- Proven track record of fast-paced and self-directed execution
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated leadership ability and love of owning of problems end-to-end
