Full Job Description

Assembly is hiring a Manager, Omnichannel Media Architecture to join our Insights & Connections community. This is a media strategy role that will involve developing insight-driven omnichannel strategies for Fossil Group, a global jewelry and accessory retail client. The individual will collaborate with various departments to implement these strategies, enhancing brand presence and driving conversions. The ideal candidate has strong media planning experience, a strategic mindset, and openness to innovative approaches.  The candidate must have at least 2 years of direct experience in a media strategy, planning or activation role and is proficient  in audience insight tools and budgeting frameworks.    

Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement comprehensive media strategies that align with clients' business objectives and target audience. 
    • Conduct thorough audience research to synthesize target demographics, media consumption habits, and preferences across different channels. Apply this information to select the most effective media channels and approaches. 
    • Work closely with creative teams early in the planning process to ensure that media plans align with the overall messaging and creative elements of the campaigns. 
    • Develop comprehensive omnichannel media strategies, including channel mix allocations and planning principles for clients, ensuring alignment with their business objectives and target audience. 
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including account managers, activation teams, and data analysts, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of media plans with overall omnichannel strategies. 
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, consumer behavior, and technological advancements to identify new opportunities for effective media planning and contribute to thought leadership. 
    • Develop relationships with media vendors to gain access to exclusive data, insights, and opportunities that can inform innovative approaches and new thinking. 
    • Coordinate with global and other regional teams to ensure a consistent and comprehensive global approach to media. 
    • Support in training associate managers or new team members on key platforms such as Commspoint. 

Requirements

    • 2-3+ years of experience in a media strategy or related role. 
    • Proficient in planning and insights tools such as Commspoint Influence & Journey, Mintel, Foresight Factory, Syndicated Studies platforms such as MRI/Simmons, GWI, YouGov, Nielsen Media Impact, eTelmar are a MUST
    • Knowledge of collaboration software and project management techniques and tools (MS Teams and Office 365 preferred). 
    • Attention to detail and the ability to focus under pressure. 
    • Ability to adapt to meet evolving client and team needs, and communicate calmly and kindly. 
    • Proven ability to resolve conflicts and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
    • Capability to handle multiple projects and brands simultaneously. 
    • Self-starter with a desire for continuous learning. 
    • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, prioritization, and conflict resolution skills.

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is $70,000 - $85,000USD. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
