Maintenance Assistant

Seal & Design, Inc. is a family owned company founded and located in Clarence, NY with three divisions located across the U.S. and Canada. Our product line includes gaskets, o-rings, seals, molded products, die-cut foams, and many other specific products for all kinds of sealing applications. We provide superior products to our customers across many industries, including: Automotive, Medical, Military, Aerospace, Electronics, Power Generation, Hydraulics, and HVAC.

• Arrives to work on time, as scheduled, and follows the company attendance policy
• Removes manufacturing waste from production areas
• Loads and operates the waste compactor; arranges for pickup
• Performs routine maintenance on building interior and exterior
• Performs seasonal tasks such as exit/walkway snow and leaf removal to ensure safety
• Constructs custom skids/crates for shipping product
• Performs or assists in building and grounds repairs and upkeep
• Assists in machine repairs as needed
• Assists production team as needed
• Follows maintenance task list daily for assigned duties and records completion
• Performs other maintenance or production related duties as needed
• Observes safety and security procedures

Requirements

Experience: Forklift experience

Education: High School Diploma

Skills: Basic computer skills, demonstrated experience working safely with hand and power tools such as saws and drills, ability to climb ladders, bend and reach
