Full Job Description
A partner in Chester, NY is seeking a Licensed Branch Associate to deliver outstanding member service, facilitate transactions, and promote investment services while maintaining adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Apply knowledge gained from Series 7 & 66 certifications to facilitate memberships, accounts, loans, and investment services.
- Monitor member care calls and assist with loan queues to identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Contribute to branch and individual sales targets by recommending products tailored to member needs.
- Refer members to a Financial Consultant for products surpassing assigned limits.
- Assist Wealth Management Financial Consultant with meetings, lead generation, and member education.
- Execute marketing programs, advocate product benefits, and secure sales.
- Support branch operations, including cash handling and reconciliation.
- Conduct teller transactions and maintain safety and security protocols.
- Ensure compliance with Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in training, development, and Credit Union initiatives.
- Uphold guiding principles and maintain consistent attendance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Certification.
- NYS Notary Public license (within 12 months of employment).
- Series 7 and 66 Certification (or ability to pass within 120 days).
- Clear background screening.
