Lead Content Migration Specialist

We’re seeking a Lead Content Strategist and Migration Specialist to join our creative team in North America. If you have experience helping businesses create user-friendly and actionable user experiences, you’re passionate, communicative, and organized, and you love working closely with a super-talented team, then this could be the role for you.

We’re seeking someone who can leverage quantitative, qualitative, and collaborative strategies to create content, fulfill the vision, meet audience needs, and effectively deliver. 

The assignment is to transform the content of a health government agency, helping patients and families with their health needs and enabling healthcare professionals to deliver the best care. A heavy focus will be on migrating over 6,500 pages, PDFs, and other content types for multiple audiences from one CMS to another. This is not a marketing/editorial content strategist role.

Although this can be a remote role, we would prefer candidates in the New York/ New Jersey area

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform qualitative and quantitative content audits and analysis
• Identify content opportunities according to strategic goals and user needs
• Lead client content and taxonomy workshops - prioritization
• Define migration strategy e.g. Content mapping, prioritization, automation
• Establish content taxonomy/ontology in collaboration with UX designers
• Establish a content model in partnership with UX designer, content creators, and developers
• Establish the content migration workflows and process for implementation
• Consult client on migration approach for manual and automated migration
• Supervise content migration activities

Background and skills

• Case studies of relevant content strategy deliverables that demonstrate a customer-centric, collaborative, and data-driven approach to your work.
• 7+ years as a professional content strategist
• Multiple experiences migrating 5,000+ page websites for large organizations
• Experience digitizing PDF content for web consumption
• Experience migrating and transforming multi-language websites
• Experience in healthcare or government preferred
• Agency experience can work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
