About the role

As a Junior Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for providing technical end-user support and analyzing and resolving network/computer hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion. In this role, as Jr. Systems Administrator you will be responsible for the maintenance of InfoTrack company desktops, laptops, and telecommunications systems; and the administration, installation, and support of Windows, MacOS, software, data communication, network printers and desktops. To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong interpersonal skills with an ability to seamlessly collaborate with varying levels of staff, and a broad range of experience in Windows environments with a passion for customer service, problem-solving, and resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance with empathy and willingness to engage and support incoming requests and issues related to end-user computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Desktop administration and maintenance for Microsoft Windows 11 and Apple MacOS using Microsoft InTune and Jamf
  • Support laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, faxing, phones, email, websites, and applications
  • Prioritize and follow up on tickets until resolved and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate team members
  • Provision new equipment with attention to detail and quality, develop and document efficiencies for help desk processes, onboarding & offboarding
  • System administration of Microsoft services including Active Directory, Azure and Office 365.
  • System administration of InfoTrack application and security tools.
  • Phone system maintenance and administration (Moves, Adds, and Changes, etc.) for Dialpad.
  • Technology asset purchasing, inventory control and tracking
  • Ability to train staff on supported applications both in person and remotely
  • Strong skills with developing and maintaining documentation for systems and processes

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience with helpdesk/systems administration
  • Preferred industry certifications for Microsoft, Apple, Cisco, AWS, etc., but not required
  • Ability to communicate and closely work with internal technical and non-technical customers
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and ability to work both individually with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and respond to outages and priority incidents.
  • Motivated to learn new technology and a drive to constantly improve one’s skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

Compensation

The anticipated starting base pay range for this role is listed below. Base salary is not the only component of our competitive total rewards package - you may also be eligible for bonus, commissions, equity, and other benefits as described below. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications.

$72,000 - $90,000 USD
