Job Title: Junior Financial Analyst
Location: New York, Global HQ
Reports to: Senior Financial Analyst
The Burson Global finance team is growing, and we are seeking a dedicated Junior Financial Analyst to join the team.
The Junior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of Burson’s Global Finance team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone passionate about building a career in finance. Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, the successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks including data entry, running financial reports, and supporting various financial processes. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and prior experience in a finance-related setting such as accounts payable or billing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for client & user maintenance in our ERP system
- Assist in preparing and running various ERP reports
- Support finance teams with day-to-day inquiries and or problems that need solving
- Collaborate with the Global Finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Handling special projects as required
- Help maintain organized and up-to-date ERP audit controls
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance department
Experience that contributes to your success:
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in finance
- Experience in a finance-related role (e.g., accounts payable, billing)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach
- Familiarity with Maconomy Premier a plus

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000 - $55,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
