Title – Jr. Java Developer

Position – Contract (6 + Months)

Location – NYC, NY

Rate- $Open(Best Possible)

Required Skills and Duties:

• software development experience in Java 8. Knowledge of Java 9.
• Experience with Multi-threading, Collections, and concurrent API
• Strong experience in writing high quality code with full automated unit test coverage (Junit, Mockito etc) according to design standards, patterns
• Working experience with various CI/CD tools and/or traditional build systems (ant, maven, gradle, etc.)
• Working experience with data platforms (relational and/or Nosql) and messaging technologies
• Working experience with web-services
• Working experience with MVC frameworks like Spring, etc.
• Strong OOPs, data structure, algorithm knowledge
• Working experience with common UNIX commands and scripts
• Working experience with web-services (REST, SOAP).
• Strong OOPs, data structure, algorithm knowledge
• Working experience with common UNIX commands and scripts
• Experience in TDD/BDD is a plus
• Experience in Scrum/Agile is a plus
• Understanding & experience in Microservices and automated integration testing
• Working experience creating high performing applications including profiling and tuning (of those applications to boost performance)
• Understanding & experience in API management, Swagger
