Inventory Coordinator

This position is accountable for managing assigned inventories through daily, weekly, monthly and annual tasks, while facilitating communication between multiple corporate teams and our third-party warehouse in Indiana. Under the direction of the Sr. Inventory Manager, the Inventory Control Coordinator organizes periodic inventory counts, adjusts quantities and locations, and records and reports discrepancies to management. Travel will also be required to visit our 3PL on an as-needed basis.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the Inventory Control team at our third-party warehouse to develop, implement, and monitor inventory control procedures
  • Facilitate communication between Tarte team and our third party warehouse
  • Monitor daily inventory activity to identify potential issues
  • Assist with monthly reconciliation and close processes
  • Participate in monthly Cycle Count Audit program at 3PL in Indiana
  • Help oversee the annual physical inventory count, and verification processes
  • Support Operations, Quality, Planning and Accounting requests
  • Transfer order management, inclusive of aged order monitoring, order receipt, order tracking, 3PL processing, and EDI error correction.
  • Lock code management, including monitoring lock codes applied by 3PL, mirroring in ERP and communicating lock requests from Tarte team to 3PL

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong Excel skills required
  • Minimum 0-2 years inventory experience (supply chain internships preferred)
  • Ability to operate efficiently and multi-task
  • Ability to think strategically and act tactically
  • Superior organizational, communication, and sense of task urgency skills required
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Ability to work proactively and independently
  • 10% Travel to 3PL required to support Physical Inventory & Cycle Count Audits
