Inventory Control

Parallel Employment Group is currently seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join a Cheektowaga, NY manufactuirng team. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits. You will also be responsible for coordinating with various departments to ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions.

Hours: 8 am - 5 pm

Wage: $23-26 based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software
• Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing department for replenishment
• Coordinate with shipping and receiving department for accurate receiving and shipping of inventory
• Collaborate with production department to coordinate inventory needs for production orders
• Provide reports on inventory levels and accuracy to management

Requirements

• Previous experience in inventory control or related field
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in using inventory management software
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
