Full-time Internal Medicine Physician Needed
We are seeking a motivated Internal Medicine Physician to enhance our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide a wide range of medical services to adult patients, from routine check-ups to complex disease management. Your ability to analyze patient histories and perform detailed assessments will be crucial in delivering effective care. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive health solutions tailored to each patient's needs.
Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday: 9am-7pm
- Friday: 9am-6pm
- Sunday (rotations): 10am-4pm
Salary:
- $280,000 - $290,000 per year, plus health insurance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess pain levels, medical history, and psychosocial factors influencing their pain.
- Manage primary care appointments, including new visits and follow-ups for annual exams, common illnesses, STDs, employer-related forms, and clearances.
- Perform initial evaluations for specialty care referrals
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and specialty referrals.
- Educate patients on pain management strategies, lifestyle modifications, and preventative care to enhance their overall health and well-being.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and ensure clear communication with both patients and other healthcare providers.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Valid medical license to practice in the New York state where the position is located
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine (or board eligibility) from a recognized medical board.
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to manage complex medical conditions, including chronic diseases.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
