Our consistent, organic growth plus a recent $70M investment has accelerated the expansion of our fantastic team and we are currently seeking to add an Installation Coordinator to our team in Commack, NY.

As an Installation Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in coordinating vehicle device installation projects, acting as the liaison between customers and installation technicians to ensure smooth and efficient execution of services. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

This position requires an office presence, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, at our HQ in Commack, NY. Once you are fully onboarded, there may be the opportunity for a hybrid schedule.

What you will do:

  • Coordinate and schedule vehicle device installations, ensuring all parties are informed of timelines, expectations, and requirements.
  • Serve as the main contact for the Implementation Team and customers, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and offering troubleshooting support.
  • Prepare technicians with necessary job details to ensure efficient and effective installations.
  • Achieve installation targets, maintain schedules, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with IntelliShift technicians and internal teams to diagnose and resolve hardware and installation issues.
  • Maintain accurate and current records of installation statuses, customer interactions, and any deviations from the planned process.
  • Manage logistical aspects of the installation process, including allocation and dispatch of inventory and resources.
  • Promptly resolve installation issues to minimize impact on customer satisfaction and project timelines.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on project progress, challenges, and resolutions to management and stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively across various teams and roles within the organization.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

What you’ll need to do it:

  • 1-3 years proven experience in a customer service or support role.
  • Strong planning, organization, and communication skills with a customer-first focus.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical business thought process with the ability to present a plan and create deliverables while building confidence and trust with clients.
  • Ability to understand and incorporate basic project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and order management systems.
  • Fleet services and/or transportation industry experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer competitive compensation, commensurate with experience: $24- $28/hour. We also offer outstanding benefits to simplify the lives of our employees and show them how much we appreciate their contributions. IntelliShift provides a full benefits package including company-subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401K with a 4% company contribution. This is a full-time, nonexempt position requiring an in-office presence, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, at our HQ in Commack, NY.
