Associate New Product Design Engineer
Job Description: As an Associate New Product Design Engineer, you will work closely with experienced engineers and production teams to ensure efficient and high-quality production. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience to grow their skills in a supportive and innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
· Assist Engineering in maintaining and updating engineering documentation, including specifications, drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), ensuring that the latest versions are controlled, accurately stored, and easily accessible with our ERP system
· Support in maintaining engineering database that pertains to CAD, drawings & specifications
· Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to facilitate & Process ECNs to ensure that all changes are properly documented, reviewed, approved, and communicated to relevant departments.
· Work with Engineering to prepare and ensure execution of protocols and reports of Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) for equipment and control systems as identified in the risk analysis.
· Establish performance criteria and validation methods, and work with QA group for acceptable measurement methods and techniques.
· Support members of the NPD team in the development of detailed activities related to the commercialization process such as 3D printing of parts, detailed mechanical design, inspection fixture design and development, and processes.
· Work with Tooling and Project Engineers to optimize mold, molding process, and downstream process including packaging configurations
· Support the design and optimization of tools, fixtures, and equipment used in manufacturing.
· Assist in the creation of process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.ctices and emerging technologies related to manufacturing and quality engineering.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Required- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Engineering discipline) and 0- 2 years in engineering/manufacturing environment
· Skilled with Microsoft Office Software (Microsoft Word, Excel, et. al.)
· Knowledge of statistical analysis and related tools and programs preferred.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Team player – ability to work independently and with a team to accomplish goals
Knowledge or expertise in:
· Microsoft word.
· PowerPoint.
· Project.
