Full Job Description

Lattimore Physical Therapy is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Assistant. As a leading provider of comprehensive physical therapy and sports rehabilitation services, we value our employees and are committed to creating a positive work environment that supports growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • ·Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Responds to frequently asked questions from applicants and employees regarding standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc. Refers more complex questions to the appropriate senior-level HR management.
  • Preserves the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Conducts periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure proper collection and filing of all required documents.
  • Provides clerical support to the HR department.
  • May assist with payroll functions, including processing, addressing employee inquiries, resolving processing errors, and distributing checks.
  • Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
  • Assists in the planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment and organization-wide meetings.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in a HR role or administrative role
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and practices
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS software
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
