For over 125 years, Calvary Hospital and Calvary @Home located in the Bronx, New York has been dedicated to the palliative care of advanced cancer and other terminally ill patients and their families. Through a caring, compassionate, philosophy of non-abandonment, the hospice provides a full spectrum of palliative services, including emotional, spiritual, and physical care. The hospice receives patients from referring institutions throughout New York City and the entire tristate area. Requirements
Responsible for coordinating applications through the admission review process. Coordinates and maintains referrer relationships with assigned institutions/agencies. Participates in development and marketing Calvary Hospital’s Home Care and Hospice Services. Provides pre-admission assistance to patients, families and referrers.
Location : Monday - Friday
Hours: 9am - 5pm
Salary: $54.65 - $68.71 per hour
Qualifications:
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exhibits an ability and attitude relative to the spirit of caring and tradition at Calvary Hospital as required by specific job duties and functions.
