Role Description
We have an opening for a full-time General Accountant at VantagePoint Benefit Administrators in Lynbrook, NY. As the General Accountant, your goal will be to record and maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial reports, budget and forecast in support of the financial health of the company.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Proven Accounting experience of at least 2-4 years, including client contact
- Proven experience in integrating and improving various system platforms and techniques
- Proficient in QB Online
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams;
- Experience with payroll administration a plus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:
- Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/Commission Tracking
- Payroll administration for us and our clients
- Bank Account Reconciliations
- Account Analysis and Reporting
- Manage Aging and Collections.
- Preparation of financial reports
