About the Role
A sports media production team is seeking a mid-level videographer for a short-term project documenting a UFC fighter's weight cut and weigh-in process. This behind-the-scenes content aims to provide fans with an intimate look at a fighter's preparation, similar in style to popular UFC documentary series. The project requires on-location filming in New York for one to two days, capturing the intensity and drama of this crucial pre-fight period.
Responsibilities:
- Film the UFC fighter during their weight cut and weigh-in process
- Capture candid, behind-the-scenes moments that showcase the athlete's experience
- Utilise appropriate filming techniques to create engaging and dynamic footage
- Adapt to various lighting conditions and potentially confined spaces
Requirements
- Proven experience as a videographer, preferably with sports-related content
- Familiarity with the UFC and combat sports environment
- Strong understanding of documentary-style filming techniques
