We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance Project Manager to join our team on a project basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with expertise in managing time, resources, and scope to ensure successful project delivery. As a Freelance Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed client expectation.

Requirements

Project Planning

  • Develop comprehensive project plans that outline the scope, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.

Resource Management

  • Allocate resources efficiently and effectively to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Monitor resource utilization and adjust as needed to optimize project performance.

Time Management

  • Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and in accordance with project timelines.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays.

Scope Management

  • Define and document project scope, objectives, and requirements in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage changes to project scope, ensuring that any adjustments are communicated, documented, and approved by relevant parties.

Communication

  • Facilitate effective communication between team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project status updates, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues.

Risk Management

  • Identify and assess potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to ensure successful project outcomes.

Quality Assurance

  • Establish and enforce project quality standards to ensure that deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Conduct regular quality reviews and implement improvements as needed.

Client Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and expectations.
  • Address client concerns promptly and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.

Additional Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a freelance or consulting capacity.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the professional services sectors e.g. Legal and/or Insurance is advantageous
