Food Manufacturing Production - $17/hr

Parallel Employment Group is looking for dedicated individuals to join a Cheektowaga Food Manufacturing Production team. In this role, you will contribute to the efficient operation of the food production process, helping to ensure that high-quality products are manufactured in a safe and timely manner. We are seeking reliable candidates who enjoy working in a team environment and are committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

1st and 2nd shift.

$17.00 - $17.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in various stages of the food production process, including preparation, assembly, and packaging of products.
• Support loading and unloading ovens with product. Must be able to lift 50 lbs consistently.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following sanitary and safety guidelines.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with product specifications.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely according to training and company standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or product defects to supervisory staff.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to food safety and manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing or a similar field is an advantage but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus.
