Family Nurse Practitioner Needed
Gotham Enterprises Ltd is looking for a Full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to join our compassionate healthcare team. Our goal is to improve health outcomes for our diverse patient population by providing high-quality care. We specialize in comprehensive Primary and Specialty care services that prioritize disease prevention, health promotion, and patient education for individuals of all ages. Schedule: Mon-Fri 10 AM - 7 PM and Sunday 10 AM - 4 PM
Salary: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 a year plus
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments.
- Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and injuries.
- Manage chronic health conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current New York state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Athenahealth electronic health record system.
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems.
- Ability to perform phlebotomy procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with inhalation therapies.
