Seeking a Compassionate Nurse Practitioner to Join Our Healthcare Team!
Gotham Enterprises Ltd is excited to welcome a Full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to our outpatient clinic, dedicated to enhancing community health through quality care. In this role, you will focus on delivering comprehensive Primary and Specialty care, with an emphasis on disease prevention and patient education. Your compassionate approach will be vital in fostering positive health outcomes for patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 10 AM - 7 PM and Sunday 10 AM - 4 PM
Salary: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 a year plus
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments.
- Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and injuries.
- Manage chronic health conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current New York state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Athenahealth electronic health record system.
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems.
- Ability to perform phlebotomy procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with inhalation therapies.
