Seeking a Compassionate Nurse Practitioner to Join Our Healthcare Team!
We are looking for a Full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to join an outpatient clinic, committed to providing high-quality care and promoting community health. As part of our innovative healthcare team, you will focus on comprehensive Primary and Specialty care, prioritizing disease prevention and health education. Your empathetic approach will ensure that patients of all ages receive the attention and support they need for optimal health.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 10 AM - 7 PM and Sunday 10 AM - 4 PM
Salary: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 a year plus
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments.
- Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and injuries.
- Manage chronic health conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current New York state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Athenahealth electronic health record system.
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems.
- Ability to perform phlebotomy procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with inhalation therapies.
