Enthusiastic Storyteller and Tourguide

Telltale tours, a renowned company in the tourism industry, is seeking an enthusiastic Storyteller and Tourguide to join our team. As an expert in tourism, your role will be to engage and captivate our clients by delivering thrilling and informative tours that showcase the nightlife of manhattan. Your storytelling skills and in-depth knowledge of the city will play a pivotal role in creating immersive experiences for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging and interactive tours, providing appropriate history following the script and timing.
• Craft captivating stories and anecdotes related to history and guest intersctions
• Ensure the safety and well-being of tour participants throughout the entire tour.
• Adapt tour content and delivery to cater to different audience demographics and levels of history knowledge.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service during tours especially at venues
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and attract new clients.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, news, and developments to continuously enhance tour content.
• Be on time
• Communicate with managers

Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering presentations or public speaking or acting background
• Excellent verbal communication and storytelling skills.
• Strong knowledge of service industry principles, practices, and regulations.
• Passion for sharing knowledge and engaging with diverse audiences.
• Ability to work flexible hours, weekends are mandatory (friday/saturday) and evenings.
• Must have mobile phone that functions outside of wifi
