We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our growing Business Systems engineering team. In this role, you will oversee a team of NetSuite developers, guiding them through hands-on mentorship, quality reviews, and process improvements. While your primary focus will be on coaching the team and driving engineering best practices, you will also participate in hands-on development as needed for critical projects or to address complex challenges. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to drive enhancements in our NetSuite platform, ensuring it scales effectively to meet business needs.

What you’ll do: 

  • Lead and mentor the NetSuite development team to ensure alignment with company goals, promote professional growth, and deliver on key initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) to enhance and maintain NetSuite functionalities, supporting business growth.
  • Drive the technical direction for NetSuite customizations and integrations, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Set goals for the engineering team and ensure successful execution through agile project management in Atlassian Jira
  • Oversee architecture and design decisions, guiding the team to follow best practices for NetSuite.
  • Coordinate with external development partners when required, ensuring successful collaboration and solution delivery.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the development process, driving continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and foster knowledge sharing to maintain high engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Business Technology and other system leads on long-term strategy and architectural planning.

Nice to Have:

  • NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer certification
  • iPaaS (Workato preferred) experience or certification
  • Knowledge of US GAAP accounting standard and experience with SOX and other compliance frameworks
  • SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) experience
  • Proven experience in technical management within NetSuite consulting or at a hyper-growth organization using NetSuite

Requirements

We would love to have you on our team if you have:

  • 6+ years of NetSuite development experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or management role
  • Proven experience managing a development team in an Agile environment, driving both delivery and team growth
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent on-the-job experience
  • Deep expertise in NetSuite core processes (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay) and customization/integration options, including API and iPaaS platforms (e.g., Workato)
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects, with a focus on scalable and sustainable technical solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset, able to handle multiple priorities effectively
  • Ability to work across global operation time zones

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

  • Region 1 $197,000- $224,000
  • Region 2 $187,000- $213,000
  • Region 3 $177,000- $201,000
